Seat for shower

Accessible bathroom

Aidy is a practical aid that allows people with reduced mobility to access the shower compartment in complete comfort and safety. Thanks to its small size, Aidy can also be installed in rooms with minimal dimensions.

The transfer movements with rotation, adjustable elevation and standing are operated by the convenient wired push-button panel.

The rotation of the Aidy seat, towards the opening of the shower cubicle, is very practical for taking a seat outside the cubicle and not inside it; as well as, in the presence of limited spaces, to easily manage the transfer inside the compartment.

The elevation function of up to 25 cm, in the standard equipment, allows overcoming any obstacles at the entrance to the shower, such as raised shower trays, and facilitates the Caregiver in daily hygiene operations. The elevation function combined with the tilt function, facilitates the transition from sitting to standing position.

TRANSFER TO THE SHOWER

FUNCTIONAL AND SAFE

An accessible bathroom does not always mean having a bathtub: in those situations in which all the members of a family, regardless of their motor skills, must use it, rather than in those situations in which the size of the bathtub limits the space to maneuver for those who necessarily have to move in a wheelchair, a shower solution that allows everyone to use it of a functional space is the most practical choice.

The Aidy shower seat has been specially designed with everyone in mind: the folding seat does not create an obstacle for those who do not need it; the rotation facilitates the transfer from the outside of the cubicle, for those in wheelchairs, do not access the cubicle with the wheelchair itself, it corresponds to greater hygiene as it is not dirty and, if the shower tray is raised, for those with difficulty walking reduces the risk of tripping. Finally, for those who are not completely independent, the liftable seat allows the cargiver to carry out personal hygiene assistance without having to bend over, the reclining seat, outside the box, helps those who have difficulty standing up.
